When the TMET in Leicester asked us to create a film showcasing their values, our goal was to highlight excellence, ambition, and inclusion across every layer of their schools. For Simply Thrilled, it was a perfect example of what thoughtful video production in Leicester and Leicestershire can achieve.

The storyboard began before the school day even started. A caretaker arriving early, sharing a quick word with the headteacher, and quietly cracking on with his work as the sun rose. From there, the film unfolded into a day-in-the-life journey across the TMET community:

Throughout, we layered in TMET’s core messages:

This wasn’t a promotional film in the traditional sense – it was a manifesto, delivered through storytelling. By weaving in personal interactions and relatable scenes, we showed how TMET’s values are lived out daily in classrooms, corridors, and communities across Leicester.

From a technical perspective, our Leicester videographers captured both dynamic reportage shots and carefully composed portraits, ensuring the film felt polished but never corporate.
