They asked us to produce a promotional film which would show the skill, passion, and artistry behind their work. For us, it was a brilliant opportunity to use video production in Warwick to tell a story rooted in tradition and dedication.
From the start, the brief was to create something in a documentary style – a short film that felt personal, honest, and engaging. We wanted viewers to feel like they were stepping into the workshop, watching hands at work, hearing voices share their stories, and seeing the incredible level of detail that goes into every piece of upholstery. Inspired by films such as The Putter by Shaun Bloodworth, we set out to give Kenilworth Upholstery a video that would do justice to their craft.
Our approach combined portraiture and interview shots with cutaways of the team at work. The final deliverable was a promotional video designed for Kenilworth Upholstery’s website and social channels. It was produced to professional specifications – Apple Pro Res, full HD, with a clean stereo audio mix – ensuring the film looked and sounded flawless wherever it was shown.
